Quality Assurance
Through the Quality Assurance Committee, Primecare continually evaluates and monitors the standard of care delivered to its enrollees in a manner consistent with both its obligations as a Knox-Keene licensee and its business objective of ensuring high-quality dental care for its enrollees. Primecare’s Dental Director, a licensed dentist, directly supervises the administration of its quality management program. In establishing a large network of competent dentists in convenient and strategic locations, Primecare engages in an active recruitment program that includes a screening of applications for network membership, personal visits to potential dentists, reference checks with state licensing authorities, validation of malpractice coverage, and initial certification.
The Company also engages in ongoing monitoring of its dentists through periodic on-site visits by its Dental Director. The Company maintains administrative systems to record, monitor, investigate, and promptly resolve all enrollee complaints regarding the dental services.
In-house Provider Dental Plans
Whether or not you’re a participating dentist of our dental plan we trust you will find our company a valuable resource for high quality and affordable dental benefits.
We’ve developed fully licensed and regulated in-office dental plans designed just for our contracted dentists offering broader benefits and savings for all your non-insured patients. These plans include more than 100 dental benefit procedures available to your patients for services such as check-ups and x-rays; cleanings and extractions; crowns and bridges; dentures and implants; sedation and even cosmetics.
Your patients will take comfort in knowing our plans are 100% voluntary without waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, claim forms or deductibles. Everyone is eligible. Everyone has access to coverage.
Plans are offered to individuals and their families for a one-time annual charge and can be marketed by your front office staff with minimal instruction and no special licensing requirements. We also provide your office with a significant commission for each enrolled applicant. That adds up to some significant commission dollars each month and provides a real incentive for your office staff.
Discount dental plans not licensed by a dental HMO have been deemed illegal by the California Department of Managed Healthcare (DMHC). The DMHC has recently begun taking action against these discount dental plans. If you are currently marketing or selling an in-office dental plan that is not licensed by the DMHC you are putting yourself, your practice and your patients at significant risk. Let Primecare help. Call us today for a fee schedule. Service Representatives are standing by to help you at 1.800.937.3400.
